WHAT IS BI–ASFERA ?

Bi-Asfera is the ideal single vision lens for people who need high quality vision and correction.
Depending on your prescription values, you will eliminate deformations that may occur, especially in the lateral areas, and also prevent your eye from appearing larger or smaller than it is when viewed from the outside, depending on your prescription values. All these advantages are offered thanks to the aspherical design on both the front and back surfaces of the glasses.

Astigmatism, which occurs as a result of corneal curvature, causes these people to see objects in a deformed way. Sometimes a point may appear as a line, sometimes a perfectly round shape may appear as a world flattened at its poles. In this case, an exact replica of the object viewed on the retina is never formed. Using a spherically designed eyeglass lens does not eliminate this deformation.

BENEFITS OF BI–ASFERA

In the production of Bi-Asfera single vision glasses, the aspherical semi-finished product and the aspherical surface design processed on the back surface are used to expand the visual field and increase the quality of vision. In Bi-Asfera , developed by NOVAX , the aspherical structure of both the front and back surfaces is optimized, thus preventing deformations, especially in the lateral areas, and providing you with a more aesthetic eyeglass lens.

WHY USE BI-ASFERA?

In a spherical designed eyeglass lens, as you move towards the peripheral area, the eye begins to perceive numbers outside the prescription values, causing serious image deformations in that area.

WHY USE BI-ASFERA?

With Bi-Asfera, the size of the eyes appears closest to their natural size, even at high prescription values.

When we exemplify the +10.00D lens prescription value:

With the Bi-Asfera design, the perceived prescription value remains almost identical to the prescription values on the entire surface of the lens, thus minimizing image distortion.

HOW IS
BI–ASFERA MOUNTED?

The optical axis of the lens must pass through the center of rotation
of the eye.

The following way is applied for measuring the installation height:

If you are not measuring the pantoscopic angle of the user, according to the calculation of the average pantoscopic angle, mount the Bi-Asfera 4 mm below the pupil level.

If you have measured the pantoscopic angle of the user, mount the Bi-Asfera below the pupil level up to the pantoscopic angle value * 0.5 (mm). For example: If you have measured the pantoscopic angle value as 10, perform the installation 5 mm below the pupil level.
